Mr. Terry Hayden has been involved in commercial, graphic arts,
and fine art photography for over thirty years. His fine art work is in
private and public collections across the United States.
He has taught photography at the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, Ct.
as well as the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford.
After spending years photographing in southern New England and the
Catskill Mts. in upstate N.Y., Mr. Hayden moved west to California in
the late 1970’s.
There he established a highly respected firm in a specialized field of
technical photographic application ( photogrammetry).
He continues to live and works in the San Joaquin Valley in central
California. He is also a board member as well as curator for Spectrum Photo Gallery in Fresno.
His personal work is based on the tradition of black and white analog
large format landscape photography. He works in 4”x 5” as well as 8”x 10”
negative sizes. All imagery is created using silver based media.
